VIRTUAL jumps 15% after Solana expansion: Has the road to $1 appeared?

Solana Agent Access extended Virtuals Protocol’s ownable-agent model into another major blockchain ecosystem.

The rollout enabled autonomous agents to access tools for capital raising, wallet management, trading, and sharing profits. Accordingly, VIRTUAL’s rally grew as the token’s overall utility narrative was strengthened.

The token rose by 15.42%, with a further surge in market activity following renewed interest in the protocol.

As a result of this integration, agents now have the permission to set taxes and finance their intelligence using capital they control.

However, stronger utility alone cannot guarantee sustained price appreciation without continuing market demand.

Instead, the rollout established a fundamental backdrop for traders to evaluate when considering VIRTUAL’s market structure going forward.

Spot outflows strengthened the supply backdrop

Exchange activity added another supportive element as VIRTUAL recorded approximately $473.64K in spot net outflows.

The negative netflow implied that there were more tokens leaving exchanges than entering them during the recent measured period. This caused supply on the immediate exchange supply to decline as VIRTUAL continued its price recovery.

That pattern matched Solana’s expansion as the demand for the exchange grew alongside the growth in exchange supply.

Sustained outflows would further enhance VIRTUAL’s supply conditions, especially as ecosystem activities continued to draw new involvement from the market.

Can VIRTUAL finally clear the $0.8400 barrier?

On the daily TradingView chart, VIRTUAL provided the clearest test after price broke above the established $0.6896 resistance zone. This breakout brought to an end the long range, which had contained advances for an extended period.

VIRTUAL then surged towards the $0.8400 level, an area where price was previously rejected when recovering.

Notably, a decisive $0.8400 breakout would expose the psychologically important $1.00 level as the next major chart resistance.

The breakout pattern became more and more compelling as bullishness in the MACD indicators grew during the climb.

Meanwhile, the MACD signal sits above its signal line with a positive histogram at 0.0265.

The readings accompanied expanding price strength as VIRTUAL approached resistance rather than weakening before the test.

However, price rejection around $0.8400 could trigger consolidation, although $0.6896 would provide the first important structural support for another attempt.

Final Summary

  • VIRTUAL’s Solana expansion and Spot outflows have strengthened its current recovery structure.
  • Breaking $0.84 could open VIRTUAL’s path toward the major $1 resistance level.

Fed's preferred inflation indicator PCE slightly higher than expected, core PCE "remains elevated," September rate hike uncertainty makes Waller's Friday speech more compelling

Data released on Wednesday, including the PCE, showed that underlying inflation in the US is relatively moderate and actual consumption remains weak, but economic activity is still resilient. After the PCE announcement, the probability of a rate hike in September as expected by the futures market slightly rose to about 40%. Media outlets pointed out that US inflation remains stubborn in July, and it is still unclear how Waller views the inflation issue. "New Federal Reserve News Agency" published an article titled "Federal Reserve Chair to Head to Jackson Hole, Inflation Stance Not Yet Clear," and reposted the Boston Fed Chair's view that if inflation does not continue to improve, it would be appropriate to raise rates "soon."
