The Philadelphia Semiconductor index climbed 1%. In corporate news, SpaceX (SPCX) will invest $100 billion to build its largest launch facility in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana, which will play a key role in ramping up Starship missions, the company and the state said in a joint release. SpaceX shares rose 2.9%.
