HIVE says Q1 FY2027 revenue rises 74% on higher bitcoin mining output and prices
Reuters2026/08/19 17:27- For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, revenue rose to USD 79.1 million, driven mainly by higher Bitcoin-mining revenue.
- Bitcoin-mining revenue increased to USD 72.1 million as 1,004 BTC were mined at an average USD 71,682 per BTC.
- HPC/AI revenue climbed to USD 7.1 million, reflecting management’s focus on scaling GPU cloud capacity and contracted demand.
- Gross operating margin was USD 24.2 million, or 31% of revenue excluding depreciation; adjusted EBITDA was USD 13.4 million.
- Net loss totaled USD 142.9 million, which management attributed primarily to non-cash items such as USD 84.7 million of provisions and USD 53.7 million of depreciation.
