The 51st round of SUN buyback and burn has concluded, with the total amount burned surpassing 678 million tokens.
Odaily reported that on July 25, the fifty-first round of SUN token buyback and burn was completed successfully. Since its launch in December 2021, the total amount of SUN tokens destroyed has surpassed 678 million (678,547,188.32 tokens), with the deflationary effect continuing to manifest. Among them, SunSwap V2, SunPump, and SunX contributed approximately 382 million, 286 million, and 10.7 million tokens respectively, providing robust support for the long-term burn mechanism through diversified revenue streams.
This round saw the destruction of 9,025,027.40 tokens, all of which have been permanently locked in the black hole address. This mechanism continues to reduce the circulating supply in the market, further strengthening the scarcity of SUN tokens and laying a solid foundation for the long-term healthy development of the token's economic model. The SUN team will resolutely advance the buyback and burn strategy, continuously enhance the ecological value, and reward the community for its long-standing trust and support.
