The U.S. stated that Iran recently carried out "unjustified attacks" on commercial vessels and civilian sailors navigating in this international waterway, and the U.S. will hold the responsible parties accountable. The Iranian Armed Forces missile and drone units have threatened to launch a large-scale attack on U.S. bases in the Middle East "in the next few minutes." Subsequently, according to CNN, U.S. President Trump stated that they (Iran) just called and they want to make a deal.
