Tokenization Leader Expands Its Market Presence

Securitize was established in 2017 and became one of the world’s largest platforms for issuance and management of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) in the crypto industry. Its blockchain technology enables the representation of traditional, asset-backed products, such as private wealth, credit products and investments backed by its Treasury.

Furthermore, Securitize has partnered with several leading asset managers, such as VanEck, Hamilton Lane, KKR, BlackRock and Apollo, to introduce institutional investment products to blockchain networks. It is also home to the management of BlackRock’s BUIDL tokenized money market fund, one of the largest tokenized U.S. Treasury products on the market.

Growing Demand for Tokenized Assets

The listing follows the rapid spread of the tokenization market in both the traditional and crypto sectors. FIs are increasingly looking at blockchain to design solutions for settlement efficiency and transparency and to allow programmable ownership of real world assets.

Tokenized assets should emerge as a multi-trillion-dollar market in the near future, with more investment products moving to the blockchain, based on industry forecasts. This has prompted banks, asset managers, and infrastructure developers to further invest in their blockchain activities.

SECZ Debut Adds Rare Public Exposure to Tokenization

Public market investors will have one of the few direct ways to gain token exposure for a firm with a main focus on tokenization infrastructure, but not cryptocurrency mining or trading digital assets after trading in the public market begins at SECZ.

The expected listing also reflects increasing institutional confidence in blockchain-based financial infrastructure. The companies behind the technology are gaining significance as traditional businesses venture into tokenized funds, securities, and settlement networks.

The most direct signal that US stocks have peaked: South Korean chip exports?

Currently, the U.S. stock market is supported solely by strong earnings expectations. If semiconductor exports from South Korea and Taiwan decline, it may provide an early warning 3-6 months in advance of capital expenditure peaking. Once expectations reverse, high yields will instantly crush valuations.
