Telegram Founder: TON Block Finality Time Surpasses Mainstream L1 Blockchains
BlockBeats reported that on May 7, Telegram founder Pavel Durov stated on his personal channel that TON leads in final block confirmation times among L1 chains.
Data shows that TON's final confirmation time is about 0.6 seconds, faster than Avalanche (about 1 second), BNB Chain (about 1.1 seconds), and most other major L1s, while Ethereum takes 13 minutes and Bitcoin about 1 hour.
