Western Union to Launch Stablecoin USDPT and Plans to Issue "Stable Card"
According to Odaily, Western Union announced that it will launch the Solana-based stablecoin USDPT next month as an alternative settlement network between the company and its agents.
In addition, Western Union plans to launch a digital asset network to connect crypto wallets with its existing retail and agent network, and intends to release a “Stable Card” in dozens of markets later this year to allow users to hold value in stablecoins and make global purchases. (The Block)
