She said that TD Securities’ target is a drop to 2.75%, with a stop-loss set at 3.15%. She commented: “We still believe that 3% is the ceiling for the 10-year German bond yield.” Kumra noted that the premium previously factored into German bonds due to expectations of improved German economic growth in 2025 has begun to dissipate. Meanwhile, she added, the European Central Bank’s rate hikes have “already been largely priced in.” According to Tradeweb data, the yield on the 10-year German bond rose 2.7 basis points to 3.023%.
