Anchorage Digital, Kamino, and Solana Company jointly launch institutional-grade SOL collateralized lending service
Foresight News reported that US licensed crypto bank Anchorage Digital has announced a partnership with Solana ecosystem lending protocol Kamino and SOL treasury company Solana Company to launch an institutional-grade collateral management service. This service will support institutions in using their natively staked SOL on the Solana chain as collateral for borrowing, while keeping assets stored at the compliant custodian Anchorage Digital Bank.
Under this structure, Anchorage Digital acts as the collateral manager, ensuring assets are securely stored in the borrower's segregated account while earning staking rewards, through a tripartite account control agreement. Anchorage Digital will provide 24/7 automated LTV monitoring, margin management, and rule-based liquidation execution. Cosmo Jiang, Director at Solana Company, stated that this scalable model provides a blueprint for treasury companies and institutional investors to participate in on-chain finance.
