🟢 Global Markets Snapshot: Crypto Rebounds While Oil and Selected Stocks Lead the Move
Markets are showing a mixed but risk-sensitive picture on October 2, 2026. Bitcoin is trading around $84.7K, up roughly 1.3–2%, while the wider crypto market is also higher. At the same time, oil remains elevated above $100 for Brent, while gold and silver are holding relatively firm. In equities, software and IT stocks are seeing strong buying after better-than-expected outlooks from Accenture, while rising Treasury yields remain a major pressure point for broader stocks.
🟢 Top 10 Crypto Gainers
Based on the latest 24-hour crypto market screen:
1. GTC — +77.26%
2. MEGA — +21.50%
3. CT — +20.11%
4. DRB — +19.74%
5. ALICE — +16.76%
6. NOM — +16.45%
7. SUPER — +16.41%
8. FIGHT — +15.03%
9. BLUECHIP — +14.22%
10. COOKIE — +11.58%
GTC is the standout mover by a wide margin, while MEGA, CT and DRB are also showing double-digit gains. The important point is that many of these are smaller-cap assets, so the percentage move alone does not mean the same level of market strength as a large-cap move.
Among larger and more established cryptocurrencies, AAVE is up about 7.6%, JASMY about 10.6%, ZRO about 7.5%, SKY about 8.2%, and BTC about 2%. That suggests the current strength is not limited entirely to micro-cap coins, although the biggest percentage moves are concentrated in smaller assets.
🔴 Top 10 Crypto Losers
The current 24-hour loser list shows:
1. IDEX — -26.26%
2. SEAM — -24.89%
3. OMNI — -24.44%
4. QNT — -12.02%
5. TIME — -11.32%
6. TRU — -10.71%
7. FIS — -10.58%
8. UP — -9.49%
9. MOG — -8.33%
10. ENA — -8.16%
The sharpest declines are concentrated in smaller projects, but QNT, with a market cap around $2B and heavy trading volume, stands out because its decline is occurring in a much larger and more actively traded asset. ENA is another notable name on the downside.
The crypto market therefore isn't moving as one single block. Bitcoin and several major altcoins are gaining, while individual sectors and tokens are experiencing sharp rotations.
🟢 Stock Market — Biggest Movers
The U.S. equity market is showing a strong split between individual winners and broader macro pressure.
Major gainers from the latest session include:
Accenture (ACN) — roughly +22%
Synopsys (SNPS) — roughly +11–16%
Cognizant (CTSH) — roughly +8–10%
Fair Isaac (FICO) — roughly +8%
PTC (PTC) — roughly +7%
Guidewire Software (GWRE) — roughly +7%
Kyndryl (KD) — roughly +7%
Infosys (INFY) — roughly +6–7%
Wipro — roughly +6%
IBM — roughly +3%
Accenture is the major story here after its stronger-than-expected revenue outlook pushed its shares sharply higher and lifted other IT-services companies. Reuters reported that the company expects 3–6% fiscal 2027 revenue growth, with strong bookings and continued demand for AI-related services.
On the downside, the session has also produced unusually large losses in some names, including Corteva, Coterra Energy, Conagra Brands and Mosaic. Market data showed Corteva and several commodity-linked names among the sharpest decliners.
The bigger issue for stocks is the bond market. The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield recently reached around 5.34%, putting pressure on expensive growth stocks and increasing the return investors can get from relatively safer fixed-income assets.
🟢 Commodities — Oil Leads, Precious Metals Stay Important
Commodity markets are sending a different message.
Current notable commodity moves include:
Brent crude: around $102.60, +0.28% today
WTI crude: around $93.14, +0.29%
Silver: around $60–61, modestly positive in several feeds
Gold: around $4,150–$4,200, currently under pressure on the latest session
Copper: around $6.5/lb, mixed to lower
Natural gas: around $2.93–$2.95, lower
Platinum: around $1,720, slightly lower
Palladium: around $1,170, under pressure
Soybeans: around $1,274, lower
Corn: around $498–500, slightly lower
Oil is the major macro story. Brent moved above $102 after a sharp previous-session jump, with traders weighing China's restrictions on refined-fuel exports against improving Saudi supply. Geopolitical developments are also keeping a risk premium in crude prices.
Gold is behaving differently. It recently fell around 0.6% to $4,154.78, while silver declined about 0.5%, as the stronger dollar and higher Treasury yields reduced demand for non-yielding metals.
🌍 What the Market Is Saying Right Now
The interesting part isn't simply that Bitcoin is green.
The bigger picture is rotation.
Crypto has buyers returning to BTC and selected altcoins, but the strongest percentage gains are concentrated in smaller tokens. Meanwhile, stocks are rewarding specific companies with strong earnings or outlook catalysts rather than producing a broad, uniform rally.
Commodities are also sending mixed signals. Oil is strong because of supply and geopolitical concerns, while precious metals are dealing with higher yields and a stronger dollar.
That creates an unusual cross-market setup:
Crypto: selective risk appetite returning
Stocks: strong company-specific moves, but bond yields remain a headwind
Oil: elevated and sensitive to geopolitical/supply headlines
Gold: facing pressure from yields and the dollar
Silver: relatively firm but volatile
Industrial metals: more mixed
Agriculture: generally softer in several major contracts
For Bitcoin specifically, the $84K–$85.2K region remains important. BTC is recovering toward the upper end of its recent range, but it still needs to clear the recent high around $85,230 to show that buyers are gaining control of the short-term structure. The broader crypto market is showing improving participation, but the large spread between individual gainers and losers shows that this is still a selective market rather than a clean broad-based rally.
