According to Zhitong Finance APP, Walmart (WMT.US) announced on Wednesday the launch of a new tool that allows AI agents to shop and complete transactions on behalf of customers, aiming to secure a place in the increasingly popular field of online commerce AI assistants. This approach stands in stark contrast to Amazon (AMZN.US), which previously sought to restrict third-party AI shopping agents from accessing its platform.
