Actively traded Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) was little changed, erasing earlier gains. US equity indexes rose in midday Trading Tuesday amid strong quarterly corporate results and declining crude oil prices Energy IShares US Energy ETF (IYE) and the State Street Energy Select Sector SPDR (XLE) each lost 0.2%. Technology The State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) fell 0.2%; iShares US Technology ETF (IYW) and iShares Expanded Tech Sector ETF (IGM) each shed 0.2%. The State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor (XSD) rose 0.9%, and iShares Semiconductor (SOXX) was little changed. Financial The State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR (XLF) added 1%. Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) advanced 2.8%, and its bearish counterpart, Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ), fell 2.9%.
