⑴ The Eurozone ZEW Economic Sentiment Index for October 2026 fell by 7.3 points to 18.5, reaching the lowest level in four months and falling short of the market expectation of 23.6. ⑵ The decline indicates that, amid the ongoing uncertainty and limited prospects for resolution of the Iran conflict, investor confidence has weakened. ⑶ Survey results show that 67.1% of analysts expect economic activity to remain unchanged in the coming months, 25.7% anticipate improvement, and 7.2% expect deterioration. ⑷ The assessment of the current economic situation also weakened, with the corresponding index dropping 0.9 points to -14.8. ⑸ Meanwhile, inflation expectations fell sharply by 26.4 points to 4.7.
