Japan's Ministry of Finance: Preliminary crude oil imports in August increased by 3.6% year-on-year; thermal coal imports fell by 13.6% year-on-year to 9.092 million tons; liquefied natural gas imports decreased by 6.8% year-on-year to 4.99 million tons.
