WalletConnect Pay can be used on more than 40 million point-of-sale terminals operated by Ingenico in over 120 countries, enabling stablecoin payments to be directly integrated into everyday checkout. Starting from January 2026, WalletConnect Pay on Ingenico terminals will be available to acquirers and payment service providers. The first batch of merchant activations is expected to launch in Europe in the first and second quarters of 2026, with plans for further expansion as payment service providers (PSPs) enable the service for their merchant base.
