Bitget Crowns UEX Global Alpha Tournament Champions

Victoria, Seychelles, August 21, 2026 — Bitget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), has concluded its inaugural UEX Global Alpha Tournament (GAT), bringing together top traders from its Crypto Futures and CFD competitions for a championship built around multi-asset trading. Competing against 45 other traders, X-TRADER emerged as the tournament champion, taking home the trophy after taking out runner-ups Nova in the finals.

GAT marked the culmination of the UEX Futures League launched in June, which challenged traders across two markets. The online league began with a Crypto Futures stage in June followed by a CFD stage in July, with each carrying a 120,000 USDT prize pool and qualifying top-performing teams for the championship.
The final brought 16 teams, representing 8 different regions, together to compete across the futures market. Over 2 days, participants were tested on overall profit and losses, putting the skills developed during the online qualification stages into a competitive setting.
The tournament was designed around how traders respond when opportunities move between markets. That idea reflects Bitget's wider UEX strategy, which brings crypto together with tokenized equities, commodities, precious metals, forex, indices, and other markets through a shared trading ecosystem. Throughout 2026, Bitget has continued expanding its multi-asset infrastructure as users increasingly participate across crypto and traditional financial markets.
X-TRADER, the winners of the tournament, said: “We’ve competed in a lot of trading tournaments, but GAT was different. The format kept us thinking the whole way through, and we had some long talks as a team about the strategy we wanted to run. In the end, we backed small-cap coins, kept a close eye on fees, and stayed disciplined. Seeing that strategy take us all the way to the win was an amazing feeling. Winning a tournament like this is already special, but doing it together as friends makes it something we’ll remember for a long time.”
“GAT gave us an opportunity to see the UEX idea play out through real traders and real competition. Traders today are increasingly looking across markets and deciding where capital should move as conditions change. The tournament brought that behaviour into one arena, and the level of competition showed how quickly trading is becoming more global and multi-asset." said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget.
Across the full UEX Futures League and GAT, 2,862 traders globally generated close to $8 billion in total trading volume. The competition provided a practical view of how traders approach different asset classes within the same tournament, extending UEX from a product concept into a real-world trading experience.
The conclusion of GAT closes the first edition of the UEX Futures League, following two months of competition across crypto futures and CFDs. The tournament forms part of Bitget's broader effort to build a trading environment where users can access and manage opportunities across global markets through a unified, crypto-native experience.
